A few details to know for the upcoming year:

We had our first official Rock of the new school year! I am excited about what the Lord is going to do in the lives and hearts of the students this year.

Here are a few things to know:

  • SUNDAY SCHOOL - Our classes are age and gender specific. We have individual classes for middle school guys, middle school girls, high school guys, and high school girls. We gather in the Rock’s meeting space at 9:30 AM for announcements and a time of prayer then we head to our classes. Each class teaches a different lesson. The Sunday School teachers are as follows: MS Girls - Tonya Haines & Rachel Wakefield, MS Boys - Keith Rainwater & Jonathan Samples, HS Girls - Stephanie Rainwater & Brittany Eason, HS Guys - Travis Haines & Andrew Toney. Please encourage your student to join us!
  • WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - We have our own service for middle and high school students! From hanging out and building relationships to musical worship to preaching we have tailored our services to help students take their NEXT step with Christ! This year we will be working through the Book of Acts. We have all of the students assimilated into small groups that will meet right after the sermon to discuss questions built from the sermon. Wednesday nights are the main thrust of the ministry’s discipleship. Your student will not mature spiritually without a regular diet of God’s Word. Do what you can to keep them coming on Wednesday nights! They need it and others need them!
  • REFUEL (Jan. 12-15) - This is our winter retreat. It is one of my favorite trips of the year! It is a great time for the whole student ministry to be together on a weekend full of discipleship and fun. We will go to Chacco Springs this year for our trip! More details will be released as we get closer to the time.
  • NEXT Camp (June 24-28) - This is one of the pinnacle points of our year. We travel each year to The Christian Cottages at Laguna Beach. This is a week of discipleship, worship, relationship building, and we pray… NEXT steps. Our heart for the camp is for the student to identify his or her NEXT step with Christ and take it! More details will be released as we get closer to the time!
  • PARENT POST - Be on the lookout for updates from me with upcoming information or even discipleship material.
  • ROCKCAST - You can find the sermon from each Wednesday night in the Rock on Apple Music or Spotify.
  • WAIVER - Please click HERE to fill out the waiver for your student to participate in Rock activities. This waiver is only good for one year.
